Tickle artists #170: interview with KandenRem

1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?

I’m KandenRem. Basically I’m just a dude who likes to draw, I know that I loved feet as tickling since I’m self conscious of myself and I managed to make a living of doing what I love

2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?

I draw digitally so I know some techniques of sketching and rendering and my style is evolving constantly, I’d say the top artists that inspires me to draw and also make animations is Kusujinn

3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?

It was huge, during my years of high school and college I developed a love for drawing foot fetish and tickling art specially because wow something so attached to me and I feel good about it.

4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?

I’d say my favourites are kidnapping scenarios, something more lovingly, or even torture/interrogations.

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?

The laughter specially, the angles, the scenarios completely out of this world that could be represented only in art.

6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?

What I said before there are some scenarios than are so fantasy themed that can’t be replicated in real life and there’s where the art enters.

7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?

In my opinion is the dynamic of power, submission and and sometimes the playful aspect

8) What are your works of which you are most proud?

I can’t choose one, all of them are special for me but recently I’d say the most recent animation of Kandy getting lickled, that was a birthday gift I made for myself.

9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?

Do more animations, develop my unique style so everyone could identify it

10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?

Hmmm good question depend on how the AI is used, sometimes the AI could be repetitive and in my opinion the majority used by people without creativity but sometimes I can find some good and interesting stuff made by AI so yeah depend completely on how it’s used.
