1) Hi! For those who don’t know you, can you tell us something about yourself?
Hi! These days most people know me as Marty from MORshitz International, but many years ago I worked in the adult and fetish industry as Alex Foxe. I have somewhere around 160 titles in my old catalog, and quite a bit of my work was fetish related.
Leggi tutto: Interview with Marty Morshitz / Alex Foxe: the story of a fetish model
Then I basically disappeared from that world. I raised a family, went in a completely different direction with my life, became a nurse and spent about 12 years working as an LPN. I really never expected to be talking publicly about Alex Foxe again.
Then on March 4 of this year I started MORshitz International. I started telling stories about some of the crazy things I’ve done and people I’ve met over the years, and something really unexpected happened. People became interested in Alex Foxe again. Some remembered me, and other people had never heard of Alex and started looking up the old material after hearing one of my stories.

I’ll be 59 in November, and somehow this has become my latest adventure.
2) How did your career as a model start? And how did you come into contact with the world of tickling?
My entrance into the adult industry basically started with two questions. “Are you flexible?” and “Are you claustrophobic?”
At the time I was doing webcam work for Skye Blue. One of the women who worked at the chat place, I believe her name was Sunny, told me about bondage modeling. That’s where those two questions came in. I was flexible and definitely not claustrophobic, so I figured, why not?

That opened the door to bondage work and eventually all kinds of fetish productions, including tickling.
It’s funny looking back because one conversation with somebody at work ended up sending my life in a completely different direction.
3) What are your professional goals that you are proud to have achieved?
I’ve had such different chapters in my life that it’s hard to pick one thing.
As Alex Foxe, I ended up with somewhere around 160 titles. I appeared in Penthouse, was on the cover of DDI Magazine and was photographed by Tony Ward. His photographs of me ended up appearing in multiple Tony Ward coffee table books, including Obsessions. I also did some mainstream work along the way.

Then I walked away from that world and eventually became a nurse. I spent about 12 years working as an LPN, and I’m very proud of that part of my life too.
Now I’m doing something completely different again. I started MORshitz from scratch this year after being out of the public eye for a very long time. Watching people connect with these stories has been a wonderful surprise. I guess I’m pretty good at reinventing myself.
4) Are there any companies in particular with whom you are happy to have worked?
I worked quite a bit with Harmony Concepts and Bizarre Video. I was really fortunate because I worked with good companies and people who treated me well.

I always had pretty firm boundaries. My rule was simple. If I wouldn’t do something in my private life, I wasn’t going to do it for a camera. The companies I continued working with respected that, which is probably one of the reasons I have good memories of that period.
5) Are you ticklish? Is there anything you particularly like or dislike about tickling?
I don’t have a tickling fetish, but obviously I had to be into it enough to do it. And really, who doesn’t want to get paid to laugh their ass off? 😂
I am incredibly ticklish, which probably made me pretty good at the job. There wasn’t much acting involved. If somebody tickled me, I laughed, squirmed and tried to get away. Pretty simple job description.
That’s actually one of the things I enjoyed about fetish work. I didn’t have to personally have every fetish I was hired to portray. If it was something I was comfortable doing and I could have fun with it, I was game.
6) Would you like to tell us a curious anecdote about your period as a model?
I could probably answer this question for three days. It’s basically why I started MORshitz.
One that still makes me laugh happened after I made a Playboy/Cinemax movie called Fetish Island. We shot it at night on a ranch in Malibu, and I remember being absolutely freezing.
A few months later I was at the AVN convention in Las Vegas, and there was this enormous poster for the movie with me right there in the middle of everything.
I had gone from freezing my ass off on a ranch in Malibu to suddenly seeing myself blown up larger than life at AVN in Las Vegas.
My career had a lot of moments like that. Things would happen that seemed completely normal at the time because it was my job. Twenty five years later I tell the story and realize, okay, maybe that wasn’t particularly normal. 😂
7) Which video you’ve made is your favorite, and which one didn’t you like?
That’s a really difficult question because I was fortunate enough to work with good companies that treated me well. I don’t have one particular video that I look back on and think, “God, I hated making that.”

Picking a favorite isn’t much easier. After almost 30 years and somewhere around 160 titles, asking me to pick one is a little like asking me what I had for lunch in 1998. 😂
What I remember more than individual titles are the experiences around them. The locations, the people, something ridiculous that happened on the set. Those are the things that have stuck with me.
8) Are there any models you’re glad you’ve worked with?
Absolutely, although almost 30 years later there aren’t too many of us still in the business. 😂

One of the things that’s been fun about telling these stories again is having people from that period unexpectedly pop back into my life. I was recently invited to be a guest on the Authentically Kinky podcast, powered by Clips4Sale. When I went to check out the show, the second interview I came across was with Tomiko, whom I worked with many years ago. What are the odds?
Things like that keep happening since I started MORshitz. It’s like little pieces of that life keep finding their way back to me.
9) What’s your opinion about the world of tickling videos online?
I probably have a different perspective because I knew this world before the creator economy existed.

When I was doing fetish work, we were dealing with physical products, websites, VHS tapes and DVDs. There was no TikTok or Instagram. Models weren’t carrying around a phone that allowed them to shoot something, promote it, sell it and talk directly to the people watching it.
What really surprised me after coming back to social media was discovering that some of the material we made all those years ago is still being searched for and bought. I’ll tell a story about something I did 25 or 30 years ago and somebody will go looking for it.
I moved on. The internet apparently did not. 😂
10) Do you have any special goals you want to achieve in the future?
Apparently turning 59 isn’t slowing me down very much.
Right now I want to keep growing MORshitz and telling these stories. I started doing this because I thought it would be fun. I didn’t have some giant master plan, and it’s turned into much more than I expected.
For probably ten years, my husband, close friends and family have been telling me that I need to do something with all these stories. I’ve lived a very full and sometimes pretty unusual life, and they’ve been telling me I should share it.
After ten years, I’m finally listening.
I’ve been thinking about doing a podcast of my own, and lately the idea of writing a book keeps coming up too. The funny thing is that now that I’ve started telling the stories, I keep remembering more of them.
Maybe it’ll be a podcast. Maybe it’ll be a book. Maybe I’ll be ridiculous enough to do both.
