Endangered Species is a 2002 science-fiction horror film written and directed by Kevin S. Tenney, best known for Witchboard and Night of the Demons. The movie stars Eric Roberts as Lieutenant Detective Mike “Sully” Sullivan, with Arnold Vosloo, John Rhys-Davies and Tony Lo Bianco in supporting roles. It combines police-investigation fiction, creature horror and action cinema, presenting itself as a small-scale alternative to films such as The Hidden, Predator and The Terminator.
Leggi tutto: Sexy scenes in “Endangered Species” | Sexy and Forgotten #1The situation becomes more complicated when another alien arrives in human form. Unlike the killer, this figure is an intergalactic warden whose mission is to stop the poacher. He is played by Arnold Vosloo, whose character gives the film much of its unusual mythology. The two aliens are connected to a history of extraterrestrial hunting: their species once contributed to the extinction of other creatures, including the dinosaurs. This idea gives the otherwise pulpy story an environmental subtext, suggesting that humanity may become the next endangered species in a much larger cosmic food chain.
Sully is therefore caught between a conventional criminal investigation and a conflict involving beings with superhuman abilities. The film moves between police dialogue, investigations, shoot-outs, car chases, explosions and confrontations with an enemy who is difficult, if not impossible, to kill.
The movie was shot digitally in Lithuania and is often described as a European low-budget production with an estimated budget of approximately €1.5 million. Its running time is usually listed as about 86 to 94 minutes, depending on the source and release. It was distributed primarily through the home-video market rather than becoming a major theatrical success.
The phrase “endangered species” refers not only to the ecological concerns mentioned by the alien warden but also to the possibility that humans themselves are being treated as hunted animals. The film’s tagline, “Earth Is A Battleground,” reinforces this idea.
Nude scenes in “Endangered Species”
In addition to its science-fiction and horror elements, Endangered Species contains several scenes of adult female nudity. These moments are relatively brief and function mainly as exploitation-film or late-night-video embellishments rather than as essential parts of the plot.
Some female characters are also shown nude in short moments, contributing to the film’s exploitation-oriented atmosphere. Because the sequences are presented as adult nudity rather than as a plot revelation, they are best understood as part of the film’s 2000s direct-to-video marketing style.

Monika Verbutaite nude in “Endangered Species”
Monika Verbutaite appears as Cathy, and one of the film’s most frequently discussed sequences involves her undressing and taking a shower. The scene presents Cathy alone in a bathroom and uses conventional shower-scene framing, with the camera lingering on her undressing and nude body before the narrative moves on. It is non-sexual in terms of plot—the scene does not advance the alien investigation—but it is clearly included as an adult-oriented visual interlude.
