Legs Weaver

Legs is an extremely capable, competent, brave, agile and highly skilled Alpha Agent with firearms. Her name and appearance recall those of actress Sigourney Weaver from the “Alien” series.

Legs Weaver, whose real name is Rebecca Lawrence Weaver, is a woman with a strong and determined personality born into a bourgeois family but marked by a lonely and difficult childhood with psychosomatic disorders like dyslexia. She enrolled in a military academy, distinguishing herself in weaponry but struggling academically, and eventually became a special agent for the Alfa Agency after being freed from prison under certain conditions. Legs is known for her temperamental yet fair demeanor and for her physical prowess. She is also openly lesbian, sharing a romantic relationship with May Frayn for a considerable time, and later with Janet Blaise. May Frayn is a beautiful and voluptuous woman of Mediterranean features, originally a thief before joining the Alfa Agency. She is portrayed as sexually confident, often appearing nude in several comics, which underlines her sensuality.

Although her toned body and abundant breasts are extolled in many circumstances (though less so than May’s), remaining naked in many situations (bathing, after abductions, following dimensional transitions, etc.), Legs is first and foremost a fighter who has nothing less, and indeed much more, than her male counterparts.

May Frayn

May Frayn (whose appearance is inspired by Hitomi Katsugi) comes from a family of expert thieves (May, June and July are traced to the protagonists of Cat’s Eyes), later coming to her senses and turning to the side of justice, becoming cohabitant, friend/lover of Legs Weaver.

Compared to Legs, she is much sunnier, less serious and aggressive, many times obsessed with the idea of having weight problems (even though no man ever shows that he complains about it).

May’s physical attributes, including her notably large breasts, are emphasized visually and considered part of her allure. Her character is complex, blending moments of lightheartedness, athleticism, and dramatic depth, including experiences of trauma and emotional struggle.

Extremely good-looking and shapely woman, Legs’ trusted sidekick in almost all of her adventures in the regular series. Their friendship seems to be practically romantic in nature even as May turns to male escorts (the thief Raoul first and the mutated Branko later), which leads around the last few issues of the series to a break in their working and emotional partnership, with Legs moving more toward her friend Janet Blaise (visually inspired by Lara Croft).

May is the object of a great deal of sexual attention because of her attractive physique and especially her extremely large and firm breasts, which are frequently shown naked. She is portrayed in the act of undressing or bathing or in other circumstances in which she is deprived of her clothes in most of Nos. 1-100, not to mention when she is spied on by the pet dragon Harvey and the young neighbor Rick both of whom are obsessed with her sensuality.

To make matters worse, May hides components of a gun inside her own bra, giving extra opportunities to remain bare-breasted when circumstances require it.
