Dr. Slump (Dr. スランプ) is a hit comedy manga created by Akira Toriyama, published from 1980 to 1984. Set in the bizarre, colorful Penguin Village, it follows the quirky inventor Senbei Norimaki (nicknamed “Dr. Slump”).
Arale Norimaki is Dr. Slump’s most famous creation: a childlike, extremely powerful robot girl who wears giant glasses, lacks common sense, and possesses absurd planet-shattering strength (along with a strange obsession with poking colorful piles of poop with sticks).
Though the series is titled Dr. Slump, Arale is the true main protagonist and the breakout star of the franchise.

Tickling scenes in Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball (ドラゴンボール) is Toriyama’s world-famous martial arts franchise, serialized from 1984 to 1995. Loosely inspired by the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West, it follows Son Goku from his childhood as a monkey-tailed martial artist through his adulthood as he defends the Earth against cosmic threats.
Dragon Ball (1986–1989)
Adapts Goku’s childhood and early adventures. It balances martial arts action with adventure and comedy.
In episode 45, Goku tickles Husky under her armpits to force her to let go of the balls she’s holding in her arms. The girl is ticklish, so she laughs and drops them.
In episode 48, Goku is tickled while swimming underwater by a fish inside his shirt; he laughs and squirm.

In episode 196, tickle torture is used by Caterpy against Goku in the Other World Tournament, when he grabs Goku, holds him in place, and tickles him in an attempt to make him forfeit; the scene is described as shocking to the spectators, while Goku laughs uncontrollably before breaking free.
In episode 256, Goten touches Trunks’ foot while he’s sleeping, making him laugh.
In the Buu saga, Goten is tickled by an animal.
Dragon Ball GT (1996–1997)
An anime-only sequel produced by Toei Animation without direct manga source material, following Goku, Trunks, and Pan across space.
Mugley uses tickling against Goku in the Junior Division finals of the 31st World Martial Arts Tournament, pushing him out of the ring and tickling him until he releases the ledge, causing a ring out.

In “Dragon Ball Z: The Three of Might,” Goku and Gohan have a contest to see who can hold their breath the longest underwater. Goku tickles Gohan to make him laugh. Chichi also accidentally tickles him, causing him to lose his breath.
In “Dragon Ball Z: Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan,” Muten rubs Oolong’s foot while he’s sleeping, tickling him.

Dragon Ball Heroes Super
In the manga spin-off series Dragon Ball Heroes Super, Chronoa (Supreme Kai of Time) is tickled by Goku while she is immobilized by the Freeze technique. When she breaks free, she laughs uncontrollably because of all the tickling sensations she feels at once.
