1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?
I’m InkSoul00, a Latino artist from Costa Rica. Here, tickling is a very unusual fetish. I’ve had this fetish since I was little, and I like to combine it with a foot fetish. That’s why most of my drawings focus on that area. I’ve been drawing since 2022, and it all started as a hobby. At first, I started doing pixel art until I got tired of it and decided to do something more traditional, which is my style at the time of this interview. Although I do it as a hobby, I also do commissions to earn money while I finish university. Speaking more about my art, I love drawing women being tickled, especially girls from video games or anime.
2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?
I can’t say I follow any particular technique; I’m more of a freestyle artist. Sometimes I watch tickling videos that I like, and that’s where I get inspiration for my drawings. I have several favorite artists, and I can mention some of them, such as KandenRem, Nonamedood, KiimmoTK, ijwt-art, pirata3, among others.
3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?
My passion for drawing isn’t that strong, but I enjoy it quite a bit. It’s relaxing to sit and draw cute girls being tickled. I absolutely love tickling in general; I think it’s one of my favorite things.
4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?
Since my time is very limited, I like to draw simple scenarios: cute girls in stocks receiving intense tickling on their feet. Sometimes I vary what happens; sometimes it’s an interrogation, other times it’s just for fun, or it might be torture. Although, I also love drawing scenarios that combine tickling with sexual themes, making the girls laugh and show lust.

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?
Although I’m not that good at drawing expressions, I love drawing girls with two types of expressions. The first is an expression that shows they like being tickled, that it’s something they enjoy, find fun, and are doing willingly. But I also adore scenes of desperation, intense tickling that could lead to a breakdown.
6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?
I think an illustration can show you more idealized and fantastical scenarios. You can see drawings of tickling as punishment from an evil cult, monsters tickling, ghosts, tentacles, princesses, warriors, Victorian women, anime characters, video game characters, series characters—the diversity they can offer is immense compared to videos where, although you can enjoy watching a girl react and laugh from being tickled, you’ll always see the same scenarios, the same chair, the same background, the same tools, but the actresses are different.

7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?
I suppose laughter I think human beings like to see others happy, that’s why we help other people, do them favors, give them gifts, and spend time together. Tickling is a way of exploring that feeling of making someone laugh and experiencing pleasure from it, even if that person is suffering from being tickled. But laughter, squeals, reactions. They have something that can’t be achieved with pain or conventional relationships.
8) What are your works of which you are most proud?
I’m very proud of my latest Terraria drawing, the one for my 1000 follower special, the one of Rift of the Necrotickler and The Chair of Torment

9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?
I want to improve my drawing style, my coloring and shading skills, and my ability to draw expressions and feet—that’s my current goal. I’d also love to start a Patreon and reach 10 000 watchers on DeviantArt and at least 1000 followers on X
10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?
It’s a difficult question to answer. There are some good AI-generated drawings, but after seeing so many, they end up becoming generic. No matter what you tell the AI, it will end up creating a drawing with nothing special about it, always the same colors, soulless. I think it will ultimately impoverish the art, but that’s progress. That’s why we need people to support us as artists.
