Tickle Artists #124: Interview with MagicTickler

1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?

I’m MagicTickler. I would prefer to omit personal information for privacy reasons.

2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?

I make drawings in vector and initially I was inspired by artists like Caroo’s and Pirata3 of which I have kept some traits in the style.

3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?

The passion for tickling has always been there while the passion for drawing came later to be able to actively contribute.

4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?

I specialize in scenarios with tendrils and “carnivorous” plants, I constantly try to improve the works I publish, also recently I’m adding some different situations just to vary.

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?

I try to represent situations in which the person or thing tickling is having fun with their victim. In reality the victim would never consent and would be afraid, in the drawing I can represent subjects almost desiring such situations.

6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?

In my opinion it depends on how an individual perceives this type of sexual stimuli, the photo represents a real or feasible scenario, while the drawing can represent all the others. Then the artist must be good enough to express what he has in mind, I try but the final result is not always faithful to my imagination.

7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?

 Here I have to give a boring answer, because it all depends on how a person experiences their sexuality.

8) What are your works of which you are most proud?

 To be honest I don’t have a specific one because I only draw when I’m inspired, the hope is that then it will be liked also by others as well as me.

9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?

 At the moment I’m publishing some drawings that have remained unfinished for years in my archive, I just need the awareness of giving my contribution.

10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?

AI generators (for a fee) have improved a lot lately, in turn I follow a couple of artists who generate with such programs. Having tried it myself, I must admit that creating lifelike, beautiful and quality images is not at all simple, you have to be skilled with props rather than with a graphics tablet.
