1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?
My main artwork username is Shimmy2K. About me, well, I like to draw. Drawing has been my hobby since forever and I couldn’t imagine my life without it. I can say my art came in the long journey since I’d started to involve myself in digital art. I explored everything in the art websites and combined any elements and themes that I feel comfortable to work with. Thus, my gallery is filled with a variety of non fetish to fetish stuff. Every artwork I do is my expression and I’ll give my best to capture the attention from the audiences.

My technique basically is the combination from the various art and animations that I’d study. My main technique would be like anime style, where I tend to make the character as expressive as I could to display the emotion. I also use the line art and vibrant colours for the simple render for the moment. Nothing special about it, but at least I have my own identity to display my art style. Since I’m into digital art, I say, the one that inspired me the most is Bluefley.
3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?
Drawing is part of my personality. It’s like I involve myself everyday with artwork. Even when I’m off from drawing, I still can feel the urge to create something, even for a simple sketch. About the tickle, the first time I drew it was when I was learning something new to make the characters display more emotion in laughter. I quite like it and so are the audiences.
4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?
I prefer the one who got tickled to be invulnerable position, usually all of the limbs getting tied up and immobilized (i.e. torture rack, suspended) and the ticklish part like armpit, hips and feet got exposed.

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?
The laughing, vulnerability and the body part that got tickled. It’s fun to combine the laughter and body fetish.
6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?
Illustration is more dramatic in displaying the emotion. Also, the possibility is endless from realism to fantasy when it comes to characters of your choosing and what kind of tickling method they will experience (or suffer).
7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?
In my opinion, it’s part of human nature to see themselves as powerful and in control. That also can be implemented in tickling activities. In my case, I usually preferred the female to be in the vulnerable position of being tied up and stretched to expose the sensitive ticklish spots. The one who tickles is keen to enjoy the laughter from the one who got tickled, thus, they can control the method and intensity only to get a joyful reaction. It’s kind of a playful peril, I can say.
8) What are your works of which you are most proud?
When it comes to tickling work, I would say the Ty Lee one. The reason I am proud of it is because it’s my own original idea.

9) Do you have any particular artistic goal?
I’m not sure about it. But I am already happy with the current growth of my art account. I don’t set the goal that much for what I’m doing as a hobby.
10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?
I’m not a fan of AI art overall, so I say it is impoverishing. The image is just generic, soulless and unbalanced when it comes to colour vibrant and depth. And not only for the tickling representation, but rather all of the kind of artworks.
