1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?
I’m the director of Veilworks – a newly established DeviantArt shop specializing in tickling of all sorts, featuring OC characters that are part of my universe called ‘The Veil’. New characters are being added regularly, and I also do commissions for people who want to realize their own OCs in my tickling style which currently includes 6 different unique restraint formats to choose from (Strapped, Wrapped, Tubed, Coiled, Tentickled, and Hogtickled). Really hope you’ll consider stopping by! 🙂

I use AI for all of my work, and I go deep into prompt engineering (we’re talking like 800 words in a prompt) to ensure I get the highest quality output possible with a ton of variety, dynamism and emotion. I’m a perfectionist, so I’ll keep hitting generate till something really hits, and I often utilize Photoshop or Premiere Pro to combine elements of different image and video generations to get the desired result. In terms of favorite artists, an old favorite of mine is TightSquish (snake coil artist). He’s really good at getting that tight helpless bondage feel, something I aim to do with my art as well, making sure the ticklees can’t go anywhere.
Another artist I used to love was lostonezero, because of the PSD’s he would publish where you could make your own variants of his images and get different tickling styles by turning on/off different layers. I just loved that customization and it’s something I wanna bring to my brand as well.
3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?
I’ve always had a passion for art and started drawing when I was 2 years old. From a very early age I’d always get a reaction out of seeing bondage situations in cartoons and stuff, specifically how the captives reacted to being teased and stuff while they were helpless. Then as I got into my teens and realized the more sexual nuances of it, I started thinking “well how can I take this further? What is the ultimate form of teasing? Oh yeah, tickling.”, and I went from there. Spent 3 years learning how to prompt engineer, and here we are
4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?
I like CNC (Consensual Non Consent) stuff, where the ticklee doesn’t want to be tickled but can’t really do anything about it. This leads to a fun predicament. How do they react to it? Do they try to ignore it? Do they fight back? How do they react to this ultimate form of humiliation? It shouldn’t get too extreme though. I like the soft playful stuff where the ticklee is embarrassed and vulnerable, but not hurt in any way.

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?
The reactions. I love a good reaction. I love silent defiance just as much as laughter, and vice versa. For me I always think “how would a person react in real life when being tied up and tickled like this?” For many, they wouldn’t just immediately start laughing, they’d go through phases of nervousness and defiance and struggle, and to me, that emotional friction you force them through is where the magic lies. I try to give each of my OC characters distinct personalities, so that journey of friction is different with each one, offering a unique experience.
6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?
I feel like illustrations just offer so much more dynamism in facial expressions and movements and everything. You can get a much stronger vibe across, and in a weird way, a fictional animated tickling scenario can sometimes feel more real than a real life one, because when watching real life stuff, you know that the ticklee is likely an actor or partner who has consented to it, whereas in animation, you can make up your own lore.
7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?
I think it’s just a matter of tickling being the most pure form of control/loss of control. How can you dominate a person any more than being in literal control of their senses and emotions? Tickling is the ultimate cheat code to violating and overriding a person’s natural order and making them vulnerable, and it’s so intimate at the same time, with you having to get in close and personal with them. I think it’s a perfect cocktail.

8) What are your works of which you are most proud?
I’d say the work I’m most proud of is probably my latest one “Coiled Tickled Video: Axo – Pack 1”. It’s the first pack where I tried to work robotic tickling tools into it, and it worked really well and gave a ton of variety. Axo is also just one of my favorite OC’s. So damn cute!
9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?
I just wanna have fun with my art and get as much out of it as possible, share it with other people and just exchange this passion with others. AI tools are expensive, but the fact that my DeviantArt shop can help me afford it and realize my passion, I am so grateful for that, and thank you to everyone who supports my stuff. It means the world.
10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?
All I can say is that for me currently, it is heavily enriching it, because with AI I’m currently getting the chance to create stuff that extends so far beyond anything I could find online even just 1 year ago. I’ve been consuming tickling content for 5+ years at this point, but had never found the holy grail until now. I’m creating stuff I genuinely love, and my own content is the only tickling content I consume nowadays. I think ultimately, AI is gonna enrich people’s enjoyment of tickling art because of personalization, like with what I am currently doing.
