1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?
My name is Katt / Mey I’m from Venezuela I’m 26 years old and I’ve been drawing since I was around 9-10, everything really started wanting to draw Anime characters like Naruto so I would just trace images from that series while slowly learning how to do it myself, I’ve been self taught since then, for a second I really thought I wasn’t gonna do well in art myself and stopped taking it serious until I met my partner and she pretty much impulsed my love for art again, thanks to her I create more than ever and improved so much to the point it became my main source of income.
Leggi tutto: Tickle artists #136: Interview with MKatt5052) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?
It really depends on the type of piece I might be doing, I work digitally with clip studio paint and I can either go for an idea that came from my head or directly mimic any picture from reference, if I’m on a tight schedule or I need a quick idea I can’t find I use 3d models so I can trace the pose directly and re do it on my own style, I use a lot of lasso tool for coloring and a lot of gradient maps too.
There’s a lot of artists that I admire, WariaGaby, Ziggyzags, Galoogamelady, Ofangie are some of the main ones I’ve been looking up for years. In regards of nsfw artists Ripushko, Polarbear, KiimmoTK, Sleepy gimp, CanaryPrimary, GordaChechona just to name a few o f A LOT of people I really look up to for nsfw inspo
3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?
I roleplay a lot with my partner and I guess that started to motivate me to draw as years went on, we would write or narrate stories through calls or texts and such until we would draw those ideas together and create a lot of characters, that made me feel so energetic and pushed me to keep drawing.
The tickle one was honestly a funny story, a friend wanted to commission my partner a tickle comic and I started to help her out cleaning up the sketches, and I got caught up in the story wanting to know more and how everything works, I’m a very open person in regards of BDSM and I already had a feet fetish but the tickling opened a new horizon of things I didn’t know I was really into.
4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?
I love anything feet focused I love making anything that anticipates the whole session too, it’s also so fun to draw them all messed up in tears all overstimulated from it

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?
Most of my tickling work is ideas from others so I try my best to represent anything they want to express through it, but if it’s something that’s mine it probably would be the relationship and feet.
6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?
I guess that people love exaggerated facial expressions, sometimes the visualization of things that can’t really be mimicked irl like a bunch of hands tools that would be beyond ridiculous to make happen, that’s the fun of it I feel like, videos and pictures are great but there’s always more magic in art.
7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?
I wouldn’t know! I’ve seen so many variations of this interest, for some it’s the torture for others it’s the physical feeling, others just like to see their favorite characters having fun, maybe it’s the different ways on how it connects us.
8) What are your works of which you are most proud?

9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?
I want to make my own story sometime with my own characters but its still brewing in the background hehe, in the meantime I’m learning little by little about animation and 3D modeling.
10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?
It’s complicated Right now I’m not a fan of anything AI generated, people say I gotta give it some time to grow and do better but it’s doing more damage than good nowadays, and in regards of tickling content I feel relying on AI to create content may seem “exciting” right now but it will become boring and shallow in the long run.
