1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?
I’m Asiri, a 21-year-old woman born and raised in Argentina 🇦🇷. There’s not much else to say about myself. I can’t recall exactly when I started drawing tickling, but I’ve been posting my art for about five years.

The very first tickle drawing I did was traditional, but I was scared of it being found by my family, so I immediately started learning digital. Since then, I’ve been drawing on my phone with my fingers. It was hard at first, but I got used to it in no time.
Recently, I saved enough money to buy a tablet, but I still keep drawing with my fingers in MediBang, as always.
Of course I do. There are many artists out there who were an inspiration even before I started drawing tickling, but it’s clear to me who THE one is. Eldelascosquillas was the first artist who made me realize I could do art too. I saw him posting art at the time and also being Spanish-speaking. I’m kind of ashamed to say this, though, because I was too little at the time, haha. But I loved how much emotion his drawings showed. He continues to inspire me to this day <3. I even had the chance to draw our characters together.
3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?
Well, I’ve always been an artist myself. My mom says I have “magic hands” (lol), because ever since I was a little girl I’ve been able to draw, cook, and play instruments without any type of help. I went to drawing classes once, and when they tried to teach me something, I did it all alone and told them, “See? Why would I need to do it that way if my way worked?”, lol. The passion for drawing and painting has always been there.
Like most people, I would say it feels like I was born with it. My earliest memory is a boy I liked pushing me onto a sofa and tickling me for a few seconds, then leaving. Tickling hasn’t left my mind since then. I was also tickled a lot by my family when I was little, and I guess that also helped. Growing up, I continued searching for tickle scenes on the internet until one day I realized it was a kink.
4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?
I’m not sure. I’d say I enjoy drawing any scenario where the lee is being held or can’t cover themselves.

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?
What I mostly try to transmit with my drawings is the feeling of the tickling. I always try to improve my skills so that when people see my art, they can tell tickling is happening. As an example, I always try to draw hands actually squeezing or scratching the spots, as I kind of dislike it when I see art where the hands are barely resting on the lee’s spots.
6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?
I’m not sure either. I think that even though some things are done very well in videos, it’s not the same as seeing it captured exactly as you want in an image. Things like machines or creatures, mostly.

7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?
That’s a tough question. Knowing that for me it’s both a fetish and a “fixation”, I wouldn’t know what to say without contradicting myself, much less speaking for someone else. But I think it’s mostly the vulnerability of the act that fascinates people.
8) What are your works of which you are most proud?
I’d say the ones where I feel I improved in aspects like anatomy or perspective. Good examples would be the redraw of “Fire for Hire” (a gift for my lovely boyfriend), where you can notice how much I improved over the years, and “Tickle Sleepover”, where I tried some perspective and used colors I don’t usually use to create atmosphere.

9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?
I want to keep improving on general things such as anatomy and perspective. I want to get better at representing the feeling of getting tickled and the emotion of tickling. Regarding my OC/sona Razy, I would really like to make more comics and animations for her, maybe something that follows even a minimal timeline or storyline to make it interesting, haha.
10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?
Not at all. With all due respect, I think AI art is soulless. It can copy every good aspect of any artist it was fed, and yet it doesn’t show a pinch of real emotion. We, as artists, transmit real emotion through our art, something you can feel in any style or type of art. You will not find that in AI “art”. ^^
