1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?
Hey! My name is Carnyotta and I’m a beginning artist always looking to improve!
Leggi tutto: Tickle artists #149: interview with CarnyOtta2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?
I consider myself a beginner, like a real real beginner, so even things like techniques, what brushes I use, etc are always changing! As for inspirations, I tend to gravitate towards the eastern art styles like japanese or chinese art, most of the drawing styles i try to copy come from me browsing Pixiv! even though I pale in comparison to the art over there.
3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?
My passion for drawing comes mostly from me wanting to realize ideas I have in my head, like I want to see a concept, scene, whatever, and I can’t find it on the internet, so I decided to draw it myself! As for tickling, well, I can’t say exactly why I developed that fetish, because I myself don’t really know, I guess everyone just has something they’re into and that happens to be mine!
4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?
My personal favorite (evidently if you’ve seen a lot of what I post on here) is any form of tickling where it’s a smaller (usually disadvantaged) thing tickling a larger and more intimidating thing! Like those armor invasion ones I’ve done, but that’s really a personal preference, and I won’t ever limit myself to only that content, any and all scenarios i’m willing to draw!

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?
The struggle really, the aspect that tickling can bring annoyance, distraction, stuff like that which is why you can see that most of my drawings have the person being tickled be angry/annoyed. I get the whole liking being tickled concept where the tickled is enjoying it, but I don’t ever see myself making that stuff on my own, totally willing of someone’s requests though!
6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?
They are both equal! A drawing cannot possibly capture the small details of movements and reactions in a tickling video, but videos just can’t match the creative potential of drawings, that being said I always prefer illustrations rather than photos, photos don’t really bring anything by themselves, maybe if there’s a creative caption attached.

7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?
I can’t answer that cause I’m not like, an anthropologist or something, but I guess it’s interesting (in my opinion) because it’s something you can do to another person that sort of forces a reaction or action out of them, it’s that feeling of power I guess, when you force someone react in such an intense way while and can’t control it.
8) What are your works of which you are most proud?
Might be weird to say but none? I’m not the type of artist that holds sentimental value to my work, in fact, I used to draw whole pieces and just delete them immediately afterwards because I had nothing to do with them, that’s actually partially why I made this account on Deviantart! to put my art somewhere instead of deleting.

9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?
Artistic goal currently is to work on my backgrounds and somehow achieve a cleaner feel to my drawings, currently they feel very messy.
10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?
I feel like for most consumers, especially in fetish art/pornography, they don’t care about what they consume as long as it’s ‘good’ and good in their eyes in anything digestible and nice to look at (after all, you don’t ‘appreciate’ fetish art, you use it to jack of or something) and ai i think is already at the stage where it’s both nice to look at and digestible, all it lacks is the ability to storyboard and scene build and it’s pretty much perfected.
Obviously AI art is not healthy for artists, it steals artwork illegally for its databases and draws attention away from new artists in favor of mass producible slop, so yeah I don’t like it, but also there’s really no realistic way I can oppose it successfully so like whatever. if you want to consume AI art or even make it, i really won’t hold it against you, you do you!
