1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?

Hi, I’m KnismoBug. There’s not much to say If I’m honest. I don’t feel I’m too interesting of a person! I just.. really like to draw! And while tickle stuff isn’t my main path in art, I really enjoy doing it!

2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?

I dont have a technique per-say? I just.. scribble until the shapes look right and I go from there honestly! I don’t over analyze anatomy or proportions really I just.. Go for it? (Might be why some pieces come out funky, but I try to swing with it! haha!)

I don’t have a FAVORITE artist either, at least at the moment. I look up to so many: especially on Deviantart.. I love that I can just scroll around and find another piece from an amazing artist I want to be like.

3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?

Oh god.. I’ve been into art since I was really young; but I only started taking it seriously when I turned.. 12? 13? I’m 23 now so this was.. well over/into 10 years ago at least. I only really got into tickle art about.. a year or two ago? My partner and I have kinda always liked tickle, even when we started dating at 16, It was cute and innocent and It just grew as we got older. I started drawing to put our shared passion into more light; include our ocs and such!

4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?

I honestly really enjoy restraints and captive tickling. It’s cute to think they have no way out..

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?

I want to capture the panic and fun mainly in the ticklee and the tickler.. I love the dynamic of one in “peril” and the other’s reviling in the other’s reactions. :3

6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?

I think art is often better than videos because we can use our imagination with it! Videos have it all painted out, images give us more personal free reign really. We can include our ocs and really do whatever we want with them, and imagine what comes next. What they feel and think, what the other people in the scenario feel and think, what led up to these events.. It gives a lot more wiggle room for each person’s own interest!

7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?

I’m not as sure for others; but for me, tickling is nice because of the joy and fun. I like making people happy, I like the stuck nature and the laughter; it’s a lot more playful than other kinks! A lot more wholesome! (most of the time..) I do however quite like the more.. Trapped nature as well. Being forced to be happy and to be the source of the other’s enjoyment as well. It’s just.. Silly and fun for me. : D

8) What are your works of which you are most proud?

I get self-conscious and anxious about my art very often so it’s hard for me to look at my stuff online and go “yeah this one is so good”, you know? But If I had to pick out the one’s I’ve uploaded.. I feel my favorites would have to be Cyv in the chuckle chamber or Silas’ stinkers! (though I have one I’m working on that takes the cake.. Keep an Eye out! I really like how it’s going.)

9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?

The future is tough to think about. I’m not sure how much I’ll improve or what will happen, but I want to be bigger if I’m honest! I’d love for my art to grow in skill and interest; I love sharing my own personal drawings, and what I do for my partner/friends.

10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?

AI is hard for me to speak about if I’m honest because I don’t really have a good taste for them, I feel, ESPECIALLY with this sort of art; that it’s meant more for human hands. A machine won’t be able to enjoy it: there’s no specialty or personal touch, It always feels.. soulless to me. I want another person to make it. To know there’s a shared interest, a connection, an enjoyment behind the art, you know? Art is more suited to the human hand because of the soul in it. I wouldn’t want my fetish art to be done by something I feel has no enjoyment or involvement.
