1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?

Hi, I’m Siberia Fetish. Well…my pseudonym can very eloquently tell about me, namely, I am an artist from cold Siberia, who is not alien to the sense of beauty and who wants to be heard in other parts of the Earth and possibly find like-minded people who are on the same wavelength with me.

2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?

I draw in CG. I also experiment with style and colors. I’m still looking for something special and recognizable. However, my Patrons sometimes order illustrations in a certain style, such as cartoons or comics.

I am inspired by a huge number of artists, both contemporary and artists of the past centuries. And I am constantly discovering new ones for me, so the process of admiration is continuous and has no heights.

3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?

I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. And every year this passion only increases.

As for tickling, this is one of my fetishes, which has been with me for a long time.

4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?

In my work, a significant role is played by the symbiosis of the ideas of my Patrons and my vision of their fantasies already in graphic form.

I also draw my scripts in which the heroes of well-known works are depicted in the classic form of tickling for the genre. It is not a task for me to be unique in terms of seeing everyday situations. We are all similar in our tastes, and therefore our creativity is expressed in scenarios familiar to all of us.

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?

In this case, I’m not trying to focus on any one feature. It is interesting for me to make different accents in situations conducive to a certain deviation.

6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real scenes?

Each of us dreamed of seeing our favorite heroes or someone from our environment in a situation related to our common fetish. Only illustrations can bring such images to life, even if only in a visual form.

7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?

From an objective point of view, I would not single out this fetish as something isolated, because from a psychological point of view, many of our deviances come from childhood or after strong emotional upheavals. Therefore, the very mechanism of origin and excitation from them is similar to each other.

However, from a subjective point of view, I cannot deny the uniqueness of this phenomenon, since I myself love it and every process I experience in this regard is an explosion of vivid emotions. After all, even from a physiological point of view, there is nothing like it … so that just touching a vulnerable part of the body causes wild laughter. It’s magical.

8) What are your works of which you are most proud?

I would not single out any of my works, as I am very self-critical about my creative process and I would like to improve myself all the time. Perhaps when I become a blind and infirm grandmother, for whom it will be difficult to hold a brush in her hands, only then will I be able to give an answer about my best work.

9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?

Absolutely yes! And I would really like to share with them…but I live in Russia. You know what is happening there now and my Patrons have already read many of my posts about it. In such circumstances, it is very difficult to plan something and be confident in the future. Therefore, I would like this unfair nightmare to end as soon as possible and I would be able to calmly breathe and start my unrealized projects.

10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?

At this point in time, AI is a very ambiguous thing and what will be in the future is difficult to predict. I also want to add that the introduction of AI into the creative process from one side can give a leap forward, giving a wider toolkit for implementing ticklish ideas, and vice versa, turn it into an endless processing of secondary from secondary.

Also, AI is still a machine code devoid of those feelings and experiences that every artist experiences during the process of his creation. It is precisely for this reason that art is so valuable to us.

In the case of AI, it will be an impersonal production process.
