Annie the Amateur Pirate: Full Story + Review

MTJPub, also known as MTJ Publishing, was a publishing company specializing primarily in comics, artwork, and stories focused on the theme of tickling. They were likely the ultimate source for tickling-themed comics, art, and fiction, offering a catalog of over 600 titles featuring fictional characters, settings, and events. MTJ Publishing showcased works by various artists, including series like Tomato Dragon, and was well-known for its niche focus on this unique genre. The MTJ Publishing website ceased operations around May 2025. We are here to honor its career as a creator and popularizer of tickle comic stories by reviewing some of his most celebrated creations.

I decided to start with a series that won me over in terms of drawing quality and likability: Annie the Amateur Pirate (by TickleMantis – Darkharp).

Who is Annie the Amateur Pirate? – Full story

Annie is a 21-year-old woman who has a dream: to become a pirate.
Too bad she is soft-hearted, very unlucky, and above all, terribly ticklish.

The Governor learns of her presence and sends his henchman to inform her that he does not like pirates in his territory. And how better to teach a lesson than through a healthy dose of tickling? After vain resistance Annie is forced to succumb to laughter when her armpits are targeted by the jailer, who has no problem denuding her in order to inflict the same torment on her nipples.

Once freed, she is taken prisoner by Harlequinn’s all-female crew. While trying to escape through a porthole she gets stuck and of course a female colleague takes the opportunity to tickle her feet, as the captain has forbidden to hurt her. The girl tries hard not to humiliate herself by bursting out laughing but is finally forced to give in loud laughter.

Sebastien, the Governor’s henchman, infiltrates the crew and helps torture the girl’s feet with feathers. Annie is driven to the edge by uncontrolled laughter.

She soon discovers that denudation and unrestrained tickling are common punishments aboard that ship.

Annie falls overboard to land on an island where mermaids pin her down and tickle her wildly in a mixture of ecstasy and suffering. Sebastien intervenes to save her but a giant octopus with highly developed fetish intelligence takes to tickling her with tentacles at her armpits and hips. The girl tries to defend her dignity but when her feet are also attacked, she melts away in a sea of tears and laughter.

Awakening on a beach, she is captured by natives who mistake her for the fertility goddess. The ritual requires that the deity laugh profusely, and if Annie does not cooperate there is a tool that can convince her: the feather! Of course, her resistance is in vain and she finally bursts into irrepressible laughter. The scrupulous natives for our enjoyment also take care to tickle nipples and vulva, but the ritual goes too far and a volcano erupts.

The girl’s adventures move to various islands where the rest of the crew members also experience the enjoyments of merciless tickling at their own expense, always, however, with Anni sacrificed because of her particular weakness toward such a practice.

Because of her success, Annie has also appeared in other MTJ publications such as “The Great Tickle Trap 2,” where she is obviously tickled by other beautiful women, and just as obviously cannot resist.

Why do I like Annie the Amateur Pirate?

Annie represents an archetypal MTJ production: young, pretty, innocent-looking, with big boobs and a habit of being naked, as well as a tremendous sensitivity to tickling.

The most enjoyable part of the stories are her constant attempts to maintain seriousness while suffering the merciless tickling, the giving herself strength to keep her lips closed, but she always ends up giving in and erupting into endless laughter, to the point that her face becomes a red mask of tears and exhaustion.
