BAC is an artist known for creating a significant amount of comics focused on tickling themes. Within the tickling community, BAC is considered a legendary figure, having made a strong impression with their artwork.

BAC’s comic stories offer everything tickle fans love; beautiful women forced to laugh against their will, exaggerated situations, lots of imagination, and varied tools (from the simple touch of the fingers to bizarre technological contraptions).

BAC is one of the greatest tickle artists of all time, and his art has inspired countless fans and cartoonists in successive generations. His meticulous and realistic style has yielded memorable works centered on tickle torture, often set in different historical periods or in thriller and espionage settings. His stories are filled with sensual women who are regularly subjected to tickling torment in their most vulnerable body parts.

The art of tickling by BAC

BAC’s illustrations depict various scenarios: beautiful women tickled by Indians, sexy spies tormented by secret agents, slaves of sultans, Chinese courtesans subjected to torment for the amusement of the court, not to mention the role of animals (especially cats and goats) in licking women’s feet, causing laughter and contortions.

In his illustrations and comic strips (especially in “Dr. Soles’ Tickling Technique”), the author gives free rein to his imagination and passion, featuring a large number of instruments of torture: toothbrushes, water jets, feathers, but also rudimentary yet effective pillories with cats or goats enticed to lick defenseless feet.

Nel 1989, BAC released a first portfolio, called “The Master Piece Series”, including 10 pages featuring B&W artworks made between 1984-1989 along with his famous comic serie “Tales of Tickle Torture”

Tales of Tickle Torture #1 (“The Case of the Barefoot Agent”)

Olga and Boris, two former KGB agents specializing in tickle torture, welcome a beautiful woman who has lost her way into their villa, mistaking her for a secret agent.

After immobilizing her in the stocks, Boris proceeds with the fateful question: “Are you ticklish?”

The poor girl finds herself catapulted into a flood of laughter when feathers and tongues attack her soft feet, not sparing her breasts and hips, making her burst out laughing as she waits for a confession that cannot come.

Comment: Even though it is a short story, it has all the iconic elements of the series: sadistic torturers specializing in tickling torture, a passion for stripping beautiful women naked, and extremely detailed facial expressions of both the torturers enjoying themselves and the poor women forced to laugh and cry. Hats off!

Tales of Tickle Torture #2

This story involves a cheeky girl, Babs, who stubbornly refuses to treat her mistress’s feet properly. The mistress decides to punish her and, having ascertained that she is ticklish, calls a friend to give her the sack.

Rose Lando and Joan take advantage of her weakness to subject her to merciless tickling sessions that hurt her sensitive spots: the poor girl is forced to laugh hysterically until she gives up and loses consciousness.

Comment: An all-female story with lesbian undertones, where you can sense the bondage pleasure of more or less consensual tickling between beautiful women, part torture and part eroticism. A classic for fans of the genre.

Tales of Tickle Torture #3

Philipe La Feet kidnaps a rich young heiress and plans to torture her into betraying her father. The girl puts up a fierce resistance, but it begins to falter when she realizes that her delicate skin is far too sensitive to tickling. The expert tickler makes her capitulate first by tickling her armpits, then her hips. The woman bursts into a flood of laughter and capitulates when her feet are subjected to relentless licking by cats.

It turns out that the whole thing was organized by La Feet on behalf of the girl’s father to ascertain how loyal she was to him and whether she would remain true to her values even when subjected to torture such as merciless tickling.

Comment: In my opinion, this is the most successful story of pure tickle torture, with meticulous detail, concise action, pronounced sadism on the part of the torturer, and the victim’s strenuous resistance motivated by pride, who is then forced to capitulate. You don’t mess with tickling, at most you laugh!

Tales of Tickle Torture #4 (“Koochi Koochi Koup”)

Mr. Philipe La Feet visits Madame Keechi’s pleasure palace on business: in reality, the man plans to take over her thriving business.

It is the only brothel in the world entirely dedicated to tickling: Boris and Olga Soleskineatzini, the two expert ticklers from the KGB seen in TOTT #1, work there.

However, Madame soon finds herself imprisoned by La Feet and his staff, who intend to take over her facility to set up an organization of “humane torture methods” that is very popular with countries that are rejecting traditional forms of coercion. However, Madame—ironically, for someone in her profession—is ticklish, and La Feet takes advantage of this. In the long torture that follows, she is tickled on her stomach, feet, and nipples with a variety of instruments (water jets, feathers, tongues…) until she gives in to the evil businessman and hands over control of her facility.

Comment: This is the most erotic story in the series, with explicit sex scenes and bondage themes. The connotations of tickling used as a “means of legalized torture” also make it the most adult in terms of “socio-political” content.

Tales of Tickle Torture #5 (“You Pay Now”)

Former criminal and now pedicurist Fu Lin has decided to make the haughty foot model Bernice Goldwad pay. He renders her helpless and, with the help of his colleagues, subjects her to the torment of tickling all over her body with beauty salon equipment.

The poor girl can do nothing but laugh like a madwoman while the sadistic Fu Lin vents her resentment with her fingers, tongue, and toothbrushes.

Comment: BAC takes the consequences of a ticklish pedicure to extremes, with a story rich in text, more like a comic strip than a full-fledged comic book.

Ready or Not COLLECTION (2006)

BAC released in 2006 a wonderful portfolio (including a color cover): Ready or Not COLLECTION!

This portfolio features remastered artworks from two old printed portfolios: “The Master Piece Series” & “The Foot Print Collection” including also some new artworks (started in 2000 and remastered during the following years).

Laughing Pines #1 (2006)

Dr. Soles has established a psychiatric hospital/research center where inmates are brought together to undergo cruel tickling treatments.

The staff consists of expert ticklers such as Sergeant Babs Zinsky, Nurse Frumpton, and the ever-present Olga and Boris, who turn every routine action into a tickling procedure.

Thanks to Dr. Flushpot’s medicines, it is possible to exponentially increase the sensitivity of all patients, making them extremely vulnerable to tickling and causing them to react hysterically.

With his “Managed Mirth Method,” Dr. Soles and his tickling nurses treat even difficult cases with a wide variety of techniques (foot licking, brushes, toothbrushes, kittens…).

Comment: In this story, BAC enjoys creating an institutionalized procedure of tickling “in broad daylight” where torture is carried out scientifically and apparently for the ultimate goal of the patients’ well-being. The atmosphere is reminiscent of 19th-century healthcare, where patients were treated using barbaric methods, although here the author completes the picture with cutting-edge technological equipment and a wide range of imaginative instruments.

Laughing Pines #2 (2009)

Dr. Soles is enlisted by the FBI to help uncover the true identity of Giggle-O, a criminal who kidnaps wealthy, single women and tickles them to exhaustion in order to gain access to their bank accounts. Upon discovering that Giggle-O provides healthcare services to his future victims, Dr. Soles plans to use an accomplice as bait to lure him out into the open.

Laughing Pines #3 (2009)

Dr. Soles’ Illustrated Stories of TICKLING : Wok Don’t Run

Fulk Toe, the leader of a Chinatown gang, gets his hands on Tootsie Mirth, who provides information to the police. The woman is stripped naked, deprived of her shoes, immobilized on a table, and subjected to a laughing powder.

At that point, a long torment of tickling begins, with feathers under her feet, pinched belly buttons, claws, and brushes along the soles of her feet, driving the woman to hysteria. The police burst in while the woman is forced to laugh frantically.

Comment: An illustrated story in the style of 1930s pulp fiction, featuring the classic Yellow Peril, which is effectively a threat to a woman who is ticklish!

Dr. Sole’s Illustrated Story of Tickling

Dr. Sole recounts a series of anecdotes about historical figures who, it is said, particularly enjoyed being tickled or tickling others: Vlad Tepes, Simon IV De Montfort, Anna Leopoldovna, either for their own pleasure or to enjoy themselves at the expense of others.

The result is a glimpse into human ingenuity when it comes to torture instruments designed to leave no trace… but which certainly make prisoners laugh.

Comment: I am not sure about the historical accuracy of the statements reported, but it is undoubtedly an “illustrated documentary” that gives an idea of the historical evolution of tickling within human organizations, of the awareness of the power it conveys to dominate others amid writhing and laughter.

BAC’s legacy in the world of tickling art

BAC’s creations are well-regarded and have impacted other artists in the tickling art niche. They have produced various artworks and comics that explore tickling in both playful and elaborate ways, gaining recognition and a dedicated following online, especially on platforms like DeviantArt.
