Tickling Artists #59: Interview with Arlioth

1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?

Hello, I am “Arlioth” this name may change in the near future, in any case I will let
you know on my social networks, speaking in general about myself,I’m from Mexico
and I’m still learning English, I consider myself someone who makes illustrations
about footfetish and Knismolagnia (tickling fetish) I have been doing this for
about 6 years. I try to live from this, at least for now…

2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?

I am a totally digital artist, I use a simple Wacom graphics tablet (Wacom Intuos
CTL4100WLK0 Bluetooth) the main program I use is Medibang, and sometimes I
retouch with Procreate on an 8th generation iPad.
As for artists who have inspired me, some would be: MichaelScottCannon, Sir
Bombers, rankerhen (rest in peace), Skillustrate, The truth is there are a lot of artists
who are great, each one has their own thing, that’s what’s special. There is an artist
who I think is on another level, not only is his art great, his animations are also great,
he is definitely someone with the gift is Kusujinn.

3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?

Well, I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil in my hand, I started like many,
drawing characters from the cartoons and anime that I watched as a child on TV.
little by little as I was growing up I drew less, when I was in university that passion
returned, as for tickling, since I saw situations like that in cartoons I always liked it,
but I started to draw that type of things until I was in university, There was once a
time when I imagined a scenario with Ochaco from My Hero Academia, and I tried to
draw it and even though it didn’t turn out the way I thought, I liked it and uploaded it
to the Deviantart page, and I saw that there were more people who liked it, and little
by little I continued drawing more situations that I had in my head.

4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?

I like to draw scenarios where one character has control over another, especially foot
tickling scenes, where they are restricted and cannot move, different tools are used,
or licking, and where there are funny or silly dialogues

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?

Well, I think I try to represent all those that you mention, different types of laughter
either through onomatopoeia and the different faces that the character makes, I try to
add effects with lines to express movements, shakes, etc., generally if i have to draw
more than one character, I like them to be from the same universe, to be able to
have an idea of how they would react to such situations, or what would be the type of
dialogues they would have between them.

6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real scenes?

Well, IRL videos and photos are great, but they are limited to many things, for
example in illustrations or animation, your limit is your imagination, perversion can
reach unreal levels, you can invent tools, machines, creatures, magic, places to
tickling, there is no need for consent, you can make the character enjoy it or suffer it
depending on what you like more, you are not limited by a time, camera, the model,
rules, etc.

7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?

I think we all like to be dominated or to dominate in privacy, tickling is one of the many
fetishes that manages these roles, it also has several levels, from just playing, pleasure to
horrible torture.

8) What are your works of which you are most proud?

I suppose that the mini comics mainly those of MHA, whether they are the ones I
have made for commissions or for myself, since in them I have captured the client’s
fantasy stories or my own, plus it is quite a lot of work to make them, but when I
when I finish drawing them, I feel great satisfaction.

9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?

I would also like to be able to create content on other topics, not just tickling and feet,
maybe more “normal” things, but for now this is what feeds me, so I can’t focus on it.
Although I would also like to be able to make more content for my OCs, since they
are related to the topic of tickling or feet, god how contradictory this is haha.

10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?

I think it will simply become another tool, that is, a few years ago, digital drawing did
not exist as it is now and that does not mean that traditional drawings are worse,
besides each artist has their unique style, that is the coolest thing,
There will always be a group of people, whether small or large, who like your art for what it is,
regardless of whether it is very detailed or simple.
