1)Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?
I’m Yutasfriend. I’m more creative in the sense of drawing, I always loved experimenting with new poses and scenes or characters, whether that was for casual drawing and my art in Deviantart.
Leggi tutto: Tickle artists #167: interview with Yutasfriend2)What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?
I don’t have any particular techniques, (which probably should change) I would probably say Adobe Fresco when drawing and blending brushes for rendering (obviously) so artists I look up to are some of the successful ones on TikTok, and just artists who can get an original photos, and draw it into a meme with other characters in it!
3)How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?
A lot a lot a lot! As a kid I used to draw a lot of hilarious comics with a weak plot but funny moments. And for tickling, I didn’t really think much of it until I saw works in Deviantart, from there I was like “Hey, I know how to draw decently, why not put a fetish to a skill on an art platform?

4)What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?
Ehhh, this is a tough one, I’m just at the start of my journey, but I have been recently doing arms above head a lot. I do really like drawing restrained scenarios such as spread poses in tickle machines, or tied up with their hands over their head.
5)What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?
Uhh, probably the more enjoyable ones, for instance, just straight cute laughter, I kind like to stray away from actual torture you know, so I’d like to portray an unfortunate situation where the lee is getting tickled for the pure cuteness of their reaction.

6)Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?
Probably how much you can fantasize the different scenarios of tickling, whether it’s a monster, or pure enjoyment of the tickling. You can really use your imagination on the scene and how they are tickled.
7)In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?
Again the creation of scenarios that are hard to capture in real life, as well as bringing to life fictional characters that you wish were tickled because you thought that in their own shows they would be relentlessly ticklish. So the art of them being tickled gives that satisfaction.
8)What are your works of which you are most proud?
In tickling, I think the 2 artworks I’m most proud of was “MT Lady Ambushed” because It was the first fully committed piece that I did on paper, and It really boosted my first few watchers and attention on the platform. and “Chica’s performance”. Just because I really got a taste of dynamic background, and a lee that was heavily underrated that I got to draw!

9)Do you have any particular artistic goal?
I hope I can try and hit 1k watchers if possible! I also make it my goal to use this constant exposure to constant drawing to help me improve my general drawing skills and animating skill ( for personal projects) And I also make it my goal to make more animations, because I really like @Animatickle ‘s works and I saw it can make you a pretty good side hustle. And finally I would like to get a decent amount of subscribers towards my premium gallery just so i can show them my drawings in those sweet uncensored scenarios.
10)Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?
In my opinion, (And i say this with no intent of harming those who use Ai for art) Ai for is really ass for when you use it for the wrong reason. Wrong reason being, constantly generating art that has no human nature and passion to it, into out performing and profiting off of it over artists that take time and love into their craft (whether that’s tickling or not). which goes to show how harmful Ai art can be towards the artist community. NOW here’s what I’ll say, If YOU use AI to generate poses, or ideas, AND THEN make art of your own off of those references, then that’s totally fine, AND that’s what AI could be very useful for. Whenever beginners can’t create a specific scenario, due to the lack of drawing capabilities, they can have help with a single prompt. So Yes I think using AI to replace actual artists is BAD, but to use AI to HELP those who struggle or need an idea, Is where AI art is GOOD.
