Tickling Artists #52: Interview with Young Sheng

1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?

Hello everyone, my name is George (in Russian, my name is written as Georgiy), but many people know me as Young Sheng. My creative way took 12 years. I started drawing porn specifically 4 years ago. I really like it. My parents were not happy about it, but then I started drawing commissions and their reaction to my first money needed to be seen, huh.

2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?

My technique is to draw quickly. When you draw fast, you don’t try to draw a lot of details and focus only on the important things-emotions, poses, movement and the like. Plus, I am an animator and that’s why I also have to draw fast, because animation is a lot of drawings.

I have a lot of favorite artists, so it’s easier to list the main ones. Alberto Mielgo, Ross Draws, Pakwan009, whisperfoot, kostos_art, jay naylor, chelodoy, Bonifasko, Dash_Shepard, Aster-Effect, MinnoSimminsNSFW.

3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?

As I said, the passion for drawing is very strong in me, I can’t imagine my life without this craft. It’s not just about tickling, but about drawing in general.

4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?

I love bondage and bdsm, it’s a mild form of cruelty. Tentacles, sex machines, spanking, toys, torture, rope, portals, humiliation, public, traps. Maybe I’m too much of a fetishist and I’ll go to hell for it. Well, the hell with it!>:33333

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?

First of all, when drawing a tickle, I try to show the movements (body, boobs, facial expressions) perhaps with some hyperbole, to make the animation look more interesting. The movement of the body will say much more than the character’s mouth ///^3^///

6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real scenes?

I think that it is possible to exaggerate something in a drawing and this is what gives illustrations an advantage over real shooting. For example, in real life, a person’s arms and legs will go numb when tied, but in the picture this moment may go down. Or we can always draw devices that cannot be created in real life.

7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?

I think tickling is just cruel, but without bodily damage. But this fetish is not for everyone, not everyone can understand it and that’s okay.

8) What are your works of which you are most proud?

I can’t point to one specific work, because I am proud of absolutely every work that I draw, as I can see my progress through my work.

9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?

I plan to draw my own comics, which (I hope) will be sold. Animation is interesting, but still, I have long wanted to draw comics that people will buy and read.

10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?

I believe that AI will not be able to replace artists completely. AI does not know how to draw himself, he learns from the works of other artists and at the moment it does not see mistakes (like fingers, anatomy, etc.) I have always said and will continue to say that AI is a tool that needs to be used correctly
