Within the James Bond franchise, torture scenes have always carried a unique balance of menace and style. Among the most iconic moments is the infamous laser sequence in Goldfinger, where 007 is immobilized and subjected to psychological torment as much as physical danger.
However, there are also other more “innocuous” tickle-related scenes that, although they did not make it to the screen, rightfully belong to the creative and celebrity worlds that directly participated in making James Bond one of the most well-known and enduring franchises of all time.

Dr.No (novel) (1958)
In “Dr No”. James Bond is in bed and awakes to find a poisonous centipede crawling up his naked body.
It reaches his groin where “Bond could feel it questing amongst the first hairs. It tickled. The skin on Bond’s belly fluttered. There was nothing he could do to control it.” The insect quickly reaches the corner of Bond’s mouth where it’s “tickling madly”.
The tickling scene has not been been included in the film (where the centipede was replaced by a tarantula spider).
Also, in the same book, Honey Ryder is tied up on the beach as bait for black crabs. Of course, she manages to save herself and later tells Bond about the experience.
“They walked round me and over me. I might have been a rock for all they cared. They tickled a bit. One annoyed me by trying to pull out a bit of my hair”.
Goldfinger (1964)
Honor Blackman (Pussy Galore)
Included in the film’s promotional materials are some photos in which Honor Blackman is allegedly tickled on the hips by Sean Connery, and where Connery receives the same treatment from Blackman.

Shirley Eaton (Jill Masterson)
Shirley Eaton’s feet were tickled intensely when they were painted with a soft brush during the filming of “Goldfinger.” She couldn’t stop laughing and eventually had to be gently held down!

You Only LIve Twice (1967)
Karin Dor (Helga Brandt)
Actress Karin Dor, as her character Helga Brandt fell into a tank full of piranhas and was seen being dragged underwater screaming, was actually being tickled on the feet by a diver, so what we heard was hysterical laughter caused by the tickling!
The World Is Not Enough (1999)
Sophie Marceau (Elektra King)
Sophie Marceau in a backstage photo is apparently tickled by Pierce Brosnan.

Other media
“Wacky Races” (ep. 77) features a parody of Goldfinger’s classic laser torture scene. Dastardly, Mutley and Agent Z are tortured by Dr. Doomsday by a machine that tickles them all over their bodies. Later the same mad scientist ends up tickled by the same machine.

In an interview, Claire Foy is briefly tickled on her hips by Cara Delevingne to make her reveal who is the next Bond actor.
